Life isn’t always easy. Throughout our life, we experience various challenges that shape the person that we are today. Thankfully, we are blessed with a dynamic brain that has natural abilities to heal and process traumatic memories and experiences. However, there are certain memories and experiences that are so profound that they become stuck.
Unprocessed trauma can keep us stuck—emotionally, spiritually, and even physically. Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps the brain and body reprocess traumatic experiences so you can feel safe, empowered, and whole again.
For clients who wish, EMDR can be blended with faith-based themes of healing and renewal.
You may have been looking into therapy for some time, but have had a hard time looking for a therapist who acknowledges and understands your Christian faith. If you’re seeking therapy that honors your relationship with God, we can integrate Scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection into the healing process. Whether you're navigating doubt, discouragement, or just want to grow in your faith while working through life’s challenges, this space is designed for you.
Therapy that is faith-integrated, not forced. Always aligned with your comfort and desire.
When life feels overwhelming or unclear, individual therapy can help you make sense of your past experiences and move forward with intention. We’ll explore the patterns, stories, and wounds that may be shaping your present—and work toward peace, growth, and clarity.
EMDR helps the brain reprocess trauma and distressing memories through bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements). It’s less about retelling your story and more about helping your brain finish what it didn’t get to resolve. You can learn more about EMDR here.
No, not at all. Many of our clients appreciate faith-integrated care, but others come simply seeking a therapist who is compassionate, trustworthy, and grounded. Everyone is welcome.
